The UK spends on average £350 per head on gifts at Christmas, which amounts to a total spend in excess of £15bn.  Whilst last minute shopping has increased slightly over the past few years, approximately half of the gift spend at Christmas is still planned several months in advance.  In addition, the spend on food and drink at this time of year is conservatively estimated at over £100 per person.

The change of season into Summer is also a trigger for a busy retailing period as people buy for themselves, their holiday, the outdoors and accessories for their home and garden.

Our Fairs, set in these two key shopping times of the year, match up-market exhibitors with London's affluent ladies in a seasonal boutique shopping experience.

The Shows

Spirit of Summer

  Spirit of Summer Fair

After huge demand from exhibitors and visitors alike, Spirit of Summer Fair was launched as a new opportunity to match up-market exhibitors with London's affluent ladies in a seasonal boutique shopping experience.  Coinciding with the advent of summer, the change of season is a trigger for a busy retailing period as people buy for themselves, their holiday, the outdoors and accessories for their home and garden.  The Fair is limited to just 300 exhibitors, all vetted by House & Garden, presenting the UK's most beautiful products.  With a collection of premium exhibitors, Brand Partners and House & Garden magazine, this event reaches consumers who only attend Spirit events.  Beautifully staged to evoke the spirit of summer, visitors shop, dine and socialise in style.

The official start to the Christmas shopping period has been much publicized, any activity before Halloween is seen as being over-commercialised which is why the retail sector and high street associations all align their main activity to start at the beginning of November, a date which Spirit is perfectly aligned to.
